IWWR’s scientists are world authorities in wetland and waterfowl biology and ecology. Their research helps guide conservation programs now and in the future.

Members of our core team have expertise in wetland and spatial ecology, avian demography, statistics, GIS technology, ecosystem services, carbon cycling, knowledge transfer and boreal ecology and more. You can find them hard at work in a variety of habitats: research sites, boardrooms, laboratories, university classrooms and offices.

No matter what they do, or where they work, our flock takes to wetland and waterfowl conservation like…ducks to water.
