Leading water quality, waterfowl and invertebrate field collection and specializing in water quality analyses to quantify their importance in wetland ecosystems.

Cat joined IWWR in 2024. She is involved in leading field work and conducting water quality analyses to understand how nutrients, pesticides and greenhouse gases affect wetlands and waterfowl. Her background focuses on aquatic toxicology and the biogeochemistry of various nutrients affecting cyanobacterial blooms in lakes.
