Lee van Ardenne, M.Sc.
Research Biologist
Specializes in the research of wetland carbon storage and ecosystem services.
Lee van Ardenne has been with IWWR since 2021. He is involved in research regarding ecosystem services provided by wetlands, with a focus on carbon storage and greenhouse gas emissions. Other focuses include work on how wetlands can influence river flow and flood regimes and geospatial analysis of wetlands to develop decision support tools.
Education
M.Sc., Physical Geography, McGill University
B.Sc. Honours, Physical Geography, University of the Fraser Valley
